What can you do if you set out to get your automobile consuming the fuel as cleanly as possible, leaving less soot and deposits in the combustion chamber and on the valves, cleaning the injection system, or in older automobiles the carburetor, while not doing damage to emissions systems, not voiding your warranty, and, in the end, getting you increased MPG and greater longevity?
In recent experiments it has been proven that aromatic petroleum distillates, alcohol (methyl alcohol), ether, acetone, and toluene all accomplish all of these functions. But there is a limit. If put in too much of any of these you can actually worsen all those things rather than bettering them. The ideal mixture researched which was easiest to use in order to attain and handle increased MPG was 1-2 ounces of acetone per full tank
Pure acetone actually prevents vaporization rather than acting as a fuel additive. So acetone is not actually fuel. It does a lot with a little - very tiny ratios from about 1/4 of one percent to one-third of one percent. mileage seems to drop off if you use too much.
Acetone not only improves mileage but lessens pollution significantly and helps engine longevity. The optimum ratio
is roughly equivalent to 2 to 3 oz. per ten gallons and this will improve mileage
about 25-percent or more. Your mileage will improve and your vehicle will operate better. You can expect a more efficient running engine to last longer by obtaining better vaporization and mileage . Those teaspoons of Acetone reduce the amount of wasted fuel to near zero.
One warning - Acetone is PAINT REMOVER so please use a small stainless steel measuring cup and long funnel to not damage your paint job. Do not purchase Acetone from drug stores. Their brands are diluted in a lot of places out there because they has been tainted with impurities . Good Acetone has that strong Acetone odor. Canadian acetone is usually the best. Go to a good paint supplies store .
The other problem is that Big Oil doesn't want you to know how to save on gas and you may still void the warranty as they sometimes check for gasoline additives like acetone.
One more important point, since mixing in acetone helps your engine run better and able to burn gas cleaner it is better for the environment - less emmissions.
Many other solutions are just plain contradictory or wrong...
I found several articles that
recommend don't use your airconditioner which is not very helpful if you live in Florida or it is in the summer in Manhattan! Then I found one article that advises to keep the vehicle's
windows open in the city streets but to use the AC when you are on the highways because having the windows open while driving at high speeds adds drag which lessens fuel mileage.
Who's right? Who's wrong? Who cares? Does it improve fuel mileage? No, probably not!
The most real solution to reduce your fuel consumption, with gas prices in the $3-4.50 range during the last year or so is to disconnect your umbilical cord... the one that chains you to the gas pump and shed your chains of slavery to the oil companies and....
Convert to a hydrogen engine!
How would it be you never had to buy another gallon of fuel again?
Convert your fuel engine to hydrogen.
If you do a partial (hybrid) conversion then you can expect to see increased MPG of up to 30% maybe more.
If you do this and also add acetone to your gas tank (which will save you another 25% or so) then you will have reduced your fuel consumption by a combined 50%! Put in about 2-3 ounces of acetone per 10 gallons of fuel and less fuel will evaporate and you reduce your fuel consumption by 25% or more.
If you do a full gas to hydrogen conversion then you will never have to pump another gallon of fuel for the rest of your life. It is far easier than you might think, costs next to nothing, doesn't pollute the environment and you will have the
reward of knowing that you are conserving resources instead of consuming more than your fair share.
