Acunda Cars Posted By : William Phillips

Acunda Cars is a unique automotive service and repair company. Exclusive Acura and Honda specialty shop with almost two decades of product experience. This will be the 11th year of business but new to the Charlotte area coming up on the second year here. Having moved from Tampa Florida in its much larger shop of 6 employees , the owner now is comfortable and enjoys doing all the hands on work personally to every vehicle.

The quality of work that way is much higher and fixing little things for free that most tech's do not notice or care about the owner uses to say thank you for choosing Acunda Cars.

One of first things many notice coming into the shop is how clean and organized it is. The owner having Military training as a ( level 9 Jet engine Mechanic ) learned in the 70's that being organized and clean was not an option but life in the maintenance field.

Many also have expressed the benefit of getting all their answers to their Acura and Honda questions by an owner who not only owns and drives them but has been involved with the product long enough to see it develop into a class of cars all of their own.

Being a Master ASE Tech. for 20 years and a Acura Master, NSX Master and Honda Master Tech. for over 15 years the owner thinks, sleeps, breathes Acura and Honda. He doesn't claim to be the most knowledgeable or the best technician in this country on the product but claims to be good enough to get the job done with accuracy and integrity.

The sales departments at the Acura and Honda dealers do not seem to have to work to hard to sell the product " it sells itself ". The owners concern is that the sales department do not take the time to explain the necessary services required by the Manufacture to keep it running correctly. .This year a customer came to Acunda Cars with a 86 Honda Accord LXI hatchback and it had over 550,000 miles on the Speedo and was serviced regularly by the car owners ( a truck driver ) . He travels to Florida a lot and racks the miles on it. The dealer wants to buy it back from him but he refuses to sell.

With a long suit in ethics the owner makes sure you get what you paid for. The prices he charges are not only fair but accurate to what it takes to run a good shop that will be around awhile. Having taken many automotive management courses by one of the top leading industry California based companies he has learned how to stay out of the pit falls that the novice repair shop might fall into, therefore producing a more quality product for the customer to enjoy.

He almost quit the career when he first started in 1977 as a Chevy light duty technician. With American cars there is one engineer to design the component and eight engineers to design it to break after warrantee. Seems to be all about the money with the domestic vehicles. When he stumbled across the Honda product as a dealer tech he saw the symmetry and logic and craftsmanship of the Honda product and felt finally at home.

From an engineering point of view there is no manufacture that spends more in research and development then Honda . He continues to be impressed by the innovative Ideas and care put into their cars. This is what inspires him to do the same to maintain this leading product.

The Advantages Of Running Your Car On Hydrogen

Water (H20) is as any grad of middle school chemistry knows consists of a mixture of hydrogen and water in a 2:1 ratio.
The Gas PowerEnhancer uses low heat, low pressure and small amounts of electricity to produce a unique mixed gas, called Rhodes~Browns Gas, in acknowledgement of the pioneers who first designed the process. This gas is significantly different from ordinary hydrogen gas. This system will produce about one thousand eight hundred and fifty quarts of this gas cocktail using just 1 quart of water. Mixing this gas is a very simple, effective and non hazardous process. It makes previous concerns about hydrogen safety all but irrelevant.

Typically our system can reduce your fuel usage in the range of 25%-50%! But what genuinely is a major change is the amount of people that are using it, converting their vehicle's engines from gas to hydrogen and fighting back after a century of abuse from the oil industry and automotive industry.
What criminality?
Go to youtube.com and search for Lindsey Williams. He has some news to tell you about discovery of oil on the Northern slope of Alaska which is top secret because of criminal agreements between the US government and OPEC.
Due to that kind of criminality we are in the situation we are in today worldwideas regards the economy, wars, the environment, etc.
There are those who say its origins stem from it being used in the fog of WW II, where it is said to have been employed against American aircrafts during that war. One story has it that as pilots flew their aircraft at low levels above the surface of the water, they found a major increase in the power and performance of their engines.
Another technological advantage is the employment of coiled/spiraled electrode WIRES - rather than flat plates or spiraled plates such as the other guys use in theirs. The magnetic vortex created by the coil assists water splitting, so we don't need as much energy from the car's electrical system, thereby simplifying the system even further and reducing its cost.
Three major functions work together to cause water splitting: direct current flowing through the electrode wires to the water, the magnetic vortex driven by the design of the electrodes, and the vacuum generated by the engine itself.
Essentially, the effects of Water4Gas technology are lowered emissions and reduced fuel usage, thanks to a MORE THOROUGH COMBUSTION. Today's poorly designed engines suffer from poor efficiency of twenty to twenty-five percent as any mechanic could confirm; 75%-80% of the gas, instead of being converted to forward motion, is instead wasted as pollution and carbon deposits (unburned fuel), as well as heat, vibration and noise.

Some comparisons...
Reduce Emissions -
Water4Gas and competitors do reduce emissions
Electric Hybrid... not on the highway!! NOPE, not kidding, it's a scam in that aspect at least. People are wasting 1/3rd more on the cost of vehicles to get an electric hybrid so they can save money at the pump where they won't reclaim the initial additional cost through those savings for 15 years and to help with reducing pollutioncleaning up but the electric hybrid does not have reduced emissions on highway driving!! Someone is not helping to clean the environment as much as they are being taken to the cleaners!
Investment
Water4Gas - you can get the info and the parts and perform the do it yourself installation for under $200.
Competitors - can go as high as $1200, from $400-1200. And one is selling an aquarium sized HHO tank for $12THOUSAND!.
Electric Hybrid - Will cost you back $17k-25K!
Time It Takes To Cover Investment - Just over fifty in an automobile and four(!) days in a truck using Water4Gas. The competition might take you from three months to a year and the total investment in an electric hybrid car will take you FORTY SEVEN years to recoup through your savings on gas!!!
What Water4Gas has done is researched today's technology and STREAMLINED the technology using readily available parts and materials, to facilitate for you devices that are both very simple, very affordable and at the same time very POWERFUL. You may have been searching for this for so long that you may have forgotten. But here it is.

The Chevy Corvette Continues To Stump

The Chevy Corvette is a sports car that has been hatched by General Motors since 1953. Chevy Corvette is a doings car that is home in in effect any environment, whether daily commuting or weekend racing.

The Chevy Corvette is a high agency vehicle and aside from its fabulous style and design, this product because of its uniqueness in exposure and practicality compared with other types of vehicle. As an aspiring young corvette cestui que use, I can answer in a single sentence that the Chevy Corvette is not overrated. See why the Chevy Corvette is the car that stands out at bottom the competition.

For over 40 years, Corvette has set the tone for high-spiccato American vehicles. Once your Corvette starts releasing that pent-up horsepower and you feel that convincing coursing through your veins, you will definitely be glad you did. And higher horsepower means rebuild acceleration and posing from your Corvette. Car and Driver put it on the magazine's Top Ten Hand Cars list and alleged that it's "just flat unbeatable in this price class.

Chevy Corvette is the atom US-domestic configuration that I can think of off-hand. For the past years, the Chevy Corvette has propter hoc received and bagged the Car of the Year award. If knowing you own a Corvette is not enough to make certain your ego, take a drive and the stares will let you know that the general public does not overrate the Chevy Corvette, but behold it as America's true sports car. And the C6 is the fastest Vette ever it can go from zero to 60 miles per hour in 4 seconds.

The Corsa Corvette exhaust system will run help the engine run cooler while pluralism completely evacuating the combustion chambers. Specifically tuned to decrease back flow pressure and increase fuel efficiency, every Corsa exhaust system kit is knowing to precisely manage charisma losses and exhaust velocity while looking and sounding great. Just as the Chevy Corvette is a fixed name among productiveness automobiles, Corsa is a customary name in exhaust systems, specializing in solutions that turn heads with the distinctive sound of high bringing to fruition. This is permanent exhaust system that takes driving force to a whole additional level.

Since Chevy Corvette is cat of the outpoint performing vehicles in the Chevrolet lineup, it is subject to overweening engine demands. The vehicle's engine has the savoir-faire and capability to make 500 horsepower at around 6,200 rpm. Vary oils offer benefits of greater fuel economy, added effective, less wear to moving engine parts and in the dust build-up of harmful deposits. For 2008 Chevy has more made the engine even au reste ruling.

This vehicle comes with cosmopolitanism and is a high-concert machine. In worlds of ways, the Chevy Corvette shows off its well-mannered and simply ride dynamics as well as an ultra-slick capacity train pop concert. Keeping figures are comprehensive thing, but feel is another entirely. Fast and sleek, the Chevy Corvette is the sports car of discrete a schoolboy's dreams.

The New Wave Of Hybrid Vehicles

Traditional and conventional cars, being run by oil or gasoline, make up or require astronomical or higher gasoline consumption bills, which to many are enough reason to trigger a looming and fatal heart attack.
The environmental concern that has been tagged on the gas-powered cars also invoked serious consideration and steps on the part of the car makers.Because the phenomenon called greenhouse effect or global warming has started to show its wrath through climate changes around the world in the past decades, people are becoming more and more concerned about environmental degradation.
Because electric cars are run by electricity, which is stored in batteries, there is no need for the car to undergo or process spontaneous combustion of gasoline on its engine. Thus, smoke or carbon monoxide emissions are eliminated.
Because of its limitations, the electric car was considered a failure and car makers did not proceed to fully roll out and launch the product to the market.
But the research and effort made to develop electric cars were not to be put in absolute futility. The car makers were really determined enough to come up with better cars that would address the issues revolving from pollutants and oil consumption. The electric cars provided the templates that were used to develop another type of car---the hybrid cars.
Hybrids are hot nowadays. Hybrid car uses 2 engines; one uses the traditional fuel, while the other uses the energy from a rechargeable battery. There are also myriad of hybrid cars, to choose from. One simplest way is through consumer reports on hybrid cars.
The hybrid cars are still evoking a greater room for improvement. Because the industry is still in the experimental and initial phase when it comes to hybrid cars, expect to see more developments and modifications in the coming years.
Some consumer reports say hybrid cars are practical; some don't. Some say only specific models are recommendable; others argue against them and sing praises about others. The bottom line is, consumer reports are exactly what they are: consumer reports. Their findings are based on their experience and opinions of the their own set of experts. How you respond to them, however, is a different story.
And consumer reports o hybrid cars has another bad news. The people behind Edmunds.com expect that hybrids will depreciate faster than other counterpart traditional vehicles. They are also noting that the attempts of the carmakers on improving the hybrid powertrain so fast will fail to convince consumer in buying relatively new technology.
The consumer reports on hybrid cars, however, particularly that of Edmunds.com, are waiting for the for the new hybrid SUVs, the Ford Escape and the Lexus RX Hybrid, will after entering the market for a particular period of time. If both gas savings and initial investment targets are achieved, says Edmunds.com's automotive expert Ed Hellwig, there's no reason why people will not rush to their dealer and buy one.
So what options exist for you if you want to improve your MPG?
WATER4GAS is sharing information for a fee which car owners can use at home to create a small device which infuses hydrogen into the gasoline/air mixture that their vehicle runs on.
The process makes bite sized particles out of the ones that the system burns as fuel. Because of the smaller size it is able to use considerably more of the gas.
By doing this you can reasonably expect to improve your MPG by 12%. But many are getting 30-50% improvement or even more. Those goblets "musta" been pretty darn huge in some engines before. But with WATER4GAS they are made consumable so you can improve your MPG.
It also helps make emissions significantly cleaner.
This package of info has been purchased by over NINE THOUSAND individuals already and the percentage of happy customers is about 99%! So that's a start!

Hybrid Cars

The speed and mileage of electric cars are inferior compared to those by the traditional and conventional gas-powered vehicles. The required time or duration of charging of batteries is also one source of setback for the electric car.
The hybrid cars were crossovers or integration of the traditional gas-powered cars and the disappointing electric cars. The hybrid cars were principally made to use the best features and qualities of each of the two types of cars (electric and gas), and cancel out their respective weaknesses.
Hybrids are hot nowadays. Hybrid car uses 2 engines; one uses the traditional fuel, while the other uses the energy from a rechargeable battery. There are also myriad of hybrid cars, to choose from. One simplest way is through consumer reports on hybrid cars.
Hybrids are the in thing these days. A hybrid car operates with 2 engines -- one using traditional fuel, and the other energy from a rechargeable battery. With the influx of hybrid cars in the market, one cannot simply take advertisement and supplier claims for their word. After all, it is every hybrid car manufacturer's duty to sell. So, how do we sift through the multitude of brands, then?
Some consumer reports say hybrid cars are practical; some don't. Some say only specific models are recommendable; others argue against them and sing praises about others. The bottom line is, consumer reports are exactly what they are: consumer reports. Their findings are based on their experience and opinions of the their own set of experts. How you respond to them, however, is a different story.
Some automobile experts and analysts have criticized the hybrid car powertrain, as flamboyant in that two engines are being used for one purpose. Consumer Reports on the other hand, disagreed. Champion explained that the electric motor adds the power, to the engine, says Champion.
Prior to the award proper, Consumer Report conducts a testing, by applying some actual expectations of consumers to hybrid cars. The Accord hybrid for instance, achieved superior fuel efficiency unsurpassed by its conventional counterparts.
But as in other endeavor, consumer reports on hybrid cars have its other side. An alternative consumer view from the same center posited the question: "Considering a hybrid car? Don't rush out to the dealership just yet."
The consumer reports on hybrid cars, however, particularly that of Edmunds.com, are waiting for the for the new hybrid SUVs, the Ford Escape and the Lexus RX Hybrid, will after entering the market for a particular period of time. So what do you do if you want to increase your MPG?
WATER4GAS is offering information for a fee which individuals can use in their garage or wherever to build a small device which instills hydrogen into the gasoline/air mixture that their car runs on.
What this does is make smaller particles out of the particles that the engine burns as fuel. Because of the smaller size the system is able to use much more of it.
With WATER4GAS you can reasonably expect to increase your MPG by 12%. But many are getting 30-50% improvement or even more. Those particles "musta" been pretty darn huge in some systems before. But with W4G they are made usable so you can increase your MPG.
It also helps make emissions substantially cleaner.
This information has been purchased by over 9000 individuals already and the percentage of happy customers is about 99%! So that's a start!

Get Ready To Install Your Car DVD, Seven Great Tips For DIY Installers Guaranteed To Work.

So you're tired of the same old tinny sound your car stereo produces and want to get something a little more powerful. You're even thinking about getting something with a DVD player?
Perhaps it's your first time taking on such an endeavor but that doesn't mean you want to go to any places that install DVD players in your car.
While car audio equipment and car DVD installation can be a long and treacherous road for the novice, it can be a rewarding one as you get to experience the fruits of your labor on a daily basis.
So before you look for places that install DVD players in your car or call a car DVD installation service because you can't find any information on how to install a mobile DVD player in a car you might want to read on for seven tips which could save a lot of drama when you do a DIY car DVD installation.
Tip Number 1, do your homework.
Before anybody starts on any serious venture the first thing they need to do is some sort of preparation. Installing a car DVD is no exception and it is always wise to do some research, get information on installing a car DVD player and then make a plan before going anywhere near a toolbox.
The first step in preparing for an installation is to do some research to find out what you need to know before doing the installation.
The first thing to do is to read the instruction book for tips and instructions for installing in dash car DVD player into cars, regardless whether you're just installing a portable DVD player in a car or doing a DVD and car alarm installation.
While it may sound girly to read instructions before doing an install of a DVD player in a car it will guarantee that you understand how the component works and what wires you need to put where in order to get it to work in your car... it will also help if you need to ask the vendor for help and you can explain the problem in more detail than 'there was a funny smell and it doesn't work properly'.
Just reading and understanding the manual is likely to be enough if you are just installing a DVD player into an existing unit but it probably won't be enough if you are trying to do a DVD car alarm installation or you are installing a completely new car audio system.
If you are doing more than just installing portable DVD player in your car you might to go online to see what tips you can find there.
First look at sites online that have information on installing a car DVD player. They will have information on how to install a system with DVD player for a car, as well as helping you with things like:
Guides,
Glossaries,
Step by step instructions,
Car DVD players install guides
Links to car audio installation DVDs
Wiring plans designed for your model of the car.
Once you have visited these sites and finding information on installing a car DVD player you may find you still have some more specific questions on how to install a mobile DVD player in a car. These can usually be solved by a member of a car audio forum, of which several can be found online.
Once you have done your research you may think you are ready to start installing the car DVD player. However it might be a good idea to do a plan before you take this step.

Tip Number 3: Give yourself enough time and space to get the job done?
It normally takes up to two days for a professional to do a good car DVD installation job so you should give yourself the same time period of uninterrupted access to the car.
It is also important to give yourself the space to do the job. You need enough to be able to remove the interior of the car, lay out the components in a logical pattern and then put them back in. Working in a cluttered space makes it too easy to loose things or get confused.
Tip Number 4: Solder wires to each other, don't just twist or fold them together.
Soldering wires together helps the signals transfer much better and will make it much less likely for connections to break if you encounter any rough surfaces.
Soldering is easy to do and kits can be purchased easily and cheaply from most hardware or electrical stores.
Tip Number 5: Mount speakers and screens onto a surface that can support them.
Most of the humming basslines you hear coming out of cars today has come from a rear tray that cannot support the two six-by-nine-inch speakers that have been mounted in it... or the sound that they create. Replace it with something more solid.
Tip Number 6: Make the earth wire as short as possible.
If you install a decent car stereo you are probably going to want an amplifier to make sure it doesn't get affected by the engine's workload. This will mean you will need to earth the stereo unit.
It is important to make sure you attach the earth to the chassis at the closest point possible and make the earth wire as short as possible to reduce the amount of voltage it eats up.
Tip Number 7: Put speaker signal wires and speaker power wires on different sides of the car.
You may think it would be a good idea to run the power wire for a speaker directly beside the signal wire. It is easy to do and it looks tidy after all. However by doing this you are creating inductance; a magnetic field which, if close enough to the signal wire. This reduces the signal that gets through to the speaker and causes the speaker to produce static.
This can be avoided simply by running your signal and power cables down opposite sides of the car. If you can't do this then try to keep the wires as far apart as possible.

While these seven pieces of advice won't make car DVD installation a piece of cake it will help you avoid several traps that can make installation almost an impossible exercise. .

Things To Do Before and During Your Visit The Car Dealership

Evaluate your financial situation and determine how much you can afford to pay each month. A longer-term finance contract may mean smaller monthly payments than a shorter-term finance contract (if all other terms are the same) - but will result in more money paid over time on your contract.

Determine the price range of the vehicle you're thinking of buying. Check newspaper ads, the Internet, and other publications.

Understand the value and cost of optional credit insurance if you agree to purchase.

Know the difference between buying and leasing a vehicle.

Be aware that your credit history may affect the finance rate you are able to negotiate.

Generally, you'll be able to get a lower rate if you've paid your monthly credit obligations on time.

Compare annual percentage rates and financing terms from multiple finance sources such as a bank, finance company and credit union. This information may also be available from the finance sources' and vehicle manufacturers' Web sites.

When Visiting the Dealership:

Stay within the price range that you can afford.

Negotiate your finance or lease arrangements and terms.

Consider carefully whether the transaction is best for your budget and transportation needs.

Understand the value and cost of optional products such as an extended service contract, credit insurance or guaranteed auto protection, if you agree to purchase. If you don't want these products, don't sign for them.

Read the contract carefully before you sign. You are obligated once you have signed a contract.

After Completing the Vehicle Purchase or Lease

Be aware that if you financed the vehicle, the assignee (bank, finance company or credit union that purchases the contract) holds a lien on the vehicle's title (and in some cases the actual title) until you have paid the contract in full.

Make your payments on time. Late or missed payments incur late fees, appear on your credit report and impact your ability to get credit in the future.

If You Encounter Financial Difficulty:

Talk to your creditors if you experience difficulties making your monthly payments.

Explain your situation and the reason your payment will be late. Work out a repayment schedule with your creditors and, if necessary, seek the services of a reputable non-profit credit counseling agency.

Know your obligations. Repossession can occur if you fail to make timely payments.

Creditor or assignee may take the vehicle in full satisfaction of the credit agreement or may sell the vehicle and apply the proceeds from the sale to the outstanding balance on the credit agreement. This second option is more common. If the vehicle is sold for less than what is owed, you may be responsible for the difference.

Be aware that the law in some states allows the creditor or assignee to repossess your vehicle without going to court.

Before You Arrive at a Dealership

Do some research.

Determine how much you can afford to finance and spend on a monthly payment.

Get a copy of your credit report so you are aware of what creditors will see. Errors or accurate negative information can impact your ability to get credit and/or your finance rate.

Identify your transportation needs.

Check auto buying guides, the Internet and other sources to find out the price range and other information for the vehicle you want to buy.

Compare current finance rates being offered by contacting various banks, credit unions or other lenders. Compare bank quotes and dealer quotes; there may be restrictions on the most attractive rates or terms from any credit source.

What Happens When You Apply for Financing

Most dealerships have a Finance and Insurance (F&I) Department, which provides one-stop shopping for financing. The F&I Department manager will ask you to complete a credit application. Information on this application may include: your name; Social Security number; date of birth; current and previous addresses and length of stay; current and previous employers and length of employment; occupation; sources of income; total gross monthly income; and financial information on existing credit accounts.

The dealership will obtain a copy of your credit report, which contains information about current and past credit obligations, your payment record and data from public records (for example, a bankruptcy filing obtained from court documents). For each account, the credit report shows your account number, the type and terms of the account, the credit limit, the most recent balance and the most recent payment. The comments section describes the current status of your account, including the creditor's summary of past due information and any legal steps that may have been taken to collect.

Dealers typically sell your contract to an assignee, such as a bank, finance company or credit union. The dealership submits your credit application to one or more of these potential assignees to determine their willingness to purchase your contract from the dealer.

These finance companies or other potential assignees will usually evaluate your credit application using automated techniques such as credit scoring, where a variety of factors, like your credit history, length of employment, income and expenses may be weighted and scored.

Since the bank, finance company or credit union does not deal directly with the prospective vehicle purchaser, it bases its evaluation upon what appears on the individual's credit report and score, the completed credit application, and the terms of the sale, such as the amount of the down payment. Each finance company or other potential assignee decides whether it is willing to buy the contract, notifies the dealership of its decision and, if applicable, offers the dealership a wholesale rate at which the assignee will buy the contract, often called the "buy rate."

Your dealer may be able to offer manufacturer incentives, such as reduced finance rates or cash back on certain models. You may see these specials advertised in your area. Make sure you ask your dealer if the model you are interested in has any special financing offers or rebates. Generally, these discounted rates are not negotiable, may be limited by a consumer's credit history, and are available only for certain models, makes or model-year vehicles.

When there are no special financing offers available, you can negotiate the annual percentage rate (APR) and the terms for payment with the dealership, just as you negotiate the price of the vehicle. The APR that you negotiate with the dealer is usually higher than the wholesale rate described earlier. This negotiation can occur before or after the dealership accepts and processes your credit application.

Lambo Doors

People often buy cars with their heart along their mind and that is why after someone has just bought a vehicle, that person would want to modify it, to make it more appealing, more beautiful.

People who like their cars so much would do anything to enhance their car, either if you are talking about performance modifications or visual ones. Visual tunning elements are easier to install and they have virtually no side effects compared to the performance enhancements.

The most common visual modifications involve changing the car's color, adding elements such as spoilers, rims, or even extreme modifications brought to the car's interior.

People will always look at a car's appearance before they look at its performance and that is why most people choose to enhance the car's aspect by any means. Recently, more and more people are choosing to install Lambo doors to their cars

So what are lambo doors, you may ask yourself?

Lambo doors are, as their name implies, car doors that open in a Lamborghini style - vertically. Car doors that open verticalle have always been regarded as something very luxurious and were reserved to very expensive cars. When choosing Lambo doors, people have to buy Lambo door kits, as they came in sets of two.

The Lambo doors kit also includes the special hinges and bolts, as the way the Lambo doors attach to the car's chassis differs significantly from the way normal doors open. There are Lambo doors that can be opened in various degrees, ranging from 70 to 120 degrees. Installing a pair of Lambo doors to your car will enhance greatly the way your car looks and it surely make it stand out from the crowd, even if the car is normal in appearance.

You should know that installing a pair of Lambo doors to your car requires quite a lot of work and it involves a few more pieces than installing a pair of rims, for example. You will have to un-install the original doors from your car and to install the new pair of Lambo doors and you will require all the installation tips and information supplied by the Lambo door vendor.

You have to work carefully to be sure the doors are perfectly aligned and sealed. After all, you would not want water to infiltrate your car or your new, shiny Lambo doors to give way during a car crash.

Being a more complex operation, you should purchase Lambo doors from tunning shops that also offer you installation, as this is not your everyday mounting scheme.

There are two main types of Lambo doors available and they differ according to the method of installation. There are the bolted Lambo doors and there are the welded Lambo doors.

The most popular types of Lambo doors are the bolted ones as they are the easiest to install. After you have bolted the doors to your car, you must align them and adjust their fit. If you will ever want to change the doors (to buy new ones or to install the original ones back on), the bolted Lambo doors are the easiest to do so.

However, you must be careful when mounting them, as the bolts in the bolted Lambo doors can shift easily if they are not properly installed. The welded Lambo doors are more firmly held into place compared to the bolted ones, but you will have to use a powerful welding torch while installing them and you have to pay very much attention to protecting the car's paint job from the very high temperatures.

Infomation About The Lexus IS220D

In its first attempt in the diesel arena, Lexus looks to score with the IS220d. The IS looks like a Lexus GS on steroids. It's got a lot going on in the looks department which is a major selling point on its own. The Lexus is a car loaded with features for those who want a richer car owning experience.

The key new feature of the Lexus is its diesel engine. Unfortunately, the IS220d falls short of its rivals. The branding image that Lexus has earned in the market is based upon ultra-refined luxury. This turbo diesel does a good job in get you there is style.

So the Lexus IS220d can almost be considered a leader in its class. This particular model has the ability to get up and go quickly. It's low emission as well, making it appealing to the corporate type buyer, especially with all of the extra bells and whistles which make it seem like a bargain for leasing. Fuel consumption in combined driving is 44.8mpg, extra urban is 52.3mpg and urban comes in at 35.8mpg.

Besides the engine, the other features of the IS220d are varying in acclaim. The six-speed manual stick is a bit long and laborious, but the pedals are great. The brake pedal is especially good compared to other cars in this class. All of the pedals are nicely weighted. The car has very good visibility with large, easily seen mirrors on the doors. The mirrors do produce some noise at speeds above 80mph, but its worth overlooking because of the excellent visibility they provide.

The IS220d goes from 0-60 in 8.9 seconds, with maximum speed of 134mph. This car is solid on the road, with a comfortable, controlled feeling. This is due to the excellent suspension and the 17-inch alloy wheels which come standard. Standard safety features also include twin, front, side and curtain airbags, ABS and ESP. The VDIM control system for stability provides sharp, pointed steering capabilities. When it comes to sliding the VDIM system is all control, managing not just the brakes, but the throttle and steering and even counter steering.

The counter steering does not get in the way of the driver, even in the event of full torque; the throttle response elicits only a slight feeling to the wheel. Full power returns rapidly once the detection system senses that the car has been righted. The systems in the car are complex, but they are easily accessible and just as easy to operate. What the Lexus lacks in engine prowess, it makes up for and one-ups its rivals. The audio, ventilation and satellite navigation systems are easy to operate. The functions are easy to use, and are not complicated at all.

Another area in which the Lexus surpasses its rivals is in after sales service. Lexus continues its due to the preponderance of other excellent features contained within. The car is designed and built for today's car buyer and driver. It is perhaps these other excellent features of which Lexus is famous for, that makes the car so unique.

The Revolution For Clean Energy Alternatives And The Water Operated Car Engine

We live in a very interesting era. If that doesn't thrill you then check with your interstellar travel agent!. I get a jolt out of them! I hope you feel the same. But the Chinese had a saying more of a curse, really that went "may you live in interesting times"! As if the only events that could occur in "interesting" times was a holocaust or something. Well, no, well intentioned can make the times interesting, and I am not referring here to Ms Spears or Ms Hilton! I am talking about "we the people".
Are you aware of how much personal power that you possess?
Start with this... one atom gets split and enough energy gets released to lay ruin to some number of miles in radius from that point. Well wanna count the number of atoms that you in your small toe? And that is just the physical. It so happens that ideas have much more potential power as part of their nature than bombs! Let me just ask you... if you were not so bleepin' powerful in your nature then why would the bastards who run this joint go through such efforts on so many fronts and falsely print so many billions of fiat currency in order to keep you from finding out how powerful that you actually are?

Well times are changing and the "monster" has been awakened. And by the "monster", I mean you and I mean me! In fact it is written into law..(human being See MONSTER. -Ballentine's Law Dictionary -1930). They consider that we are monsters and that is why they are so terrified of us that they try to reduce our power! Does that provide you with a new view on what the words "war on terror" signify? Right! It is their war on our freedoms because of their terror!!! Wouldn't you do that if you had some influence over a monster??? Lol

The revolution takes many forms. One front is the world wide web. Another front is the alternative fuel sources revolution. These have blended synergistically into something genuinely powerful and unstoppable (and terrifying to the cowards that thing they own the world).
The emergence of the Internet has made the technology provided by Water4Gas unstoppable. Also I must tell you that competition created by the internet environment is GOOD, actually DARN GOOD for all of us. That's because the universities and car manufacturing corporations and the oil industry alike have been feeding us false information. We were led to buy the official story that using water for energy was impossible. Now we know the truth - it is very attainable.
So here is the central focus of all this talk about monsters and water and stuff change is inevitable. You will soon see many more big and small manufacturers, installers in every city, and many 1000's of drivers and fleet managers exchanging notes and working collaboratively in the common quest for cheaper energy. And here's you right at the beginning of it all so congratulations, I never met a finer monster!

Spring Driving in the Rain

March is almost over, and while conventional wisdom has it that April showers bring May flowers, they also bring wet-weather driving conditions. Driving in rain may not be quite as dramatic as driving in snow and ice, but it has it's own set of hazards, so whether you have an unavoidable trip that coincides with a thunderstorm, or just happen to be out and about when the skies open up, here are some things you can do to make sure that you and your passengers don't wind up all wet:

Spring Maintenance: The change of seasons is a good time to do some routine maintenance on your car. Since rainy-day driving requires a gentle touch on all the controls in your car (steering, clutch, accelerator, and brakes) you need to make sure all those signals are in good working order. You should also check the head-, tail- , and brake-lights on your car, and make sure there are no dead bulbs. Do the same for your turn signals.

Tread Carefully: Before the rain starts, you should also make a point of checking your tires. Bald tires have less traction on wet roads, and won't help you avoid hydroplaning, while treads in good condition help divert the water your car is driving across or through.

Don't Wipe Out: It goes without saying that you should replace your windshield wiper blades at least once a year, but if your car or truck is getting on in years, consider replacing the entire wiper arm. These can bend over time, and that will reduce the downward pressure needed to actually clean the windshield. While we're on the subject, don't be afraid to use washer fluid fairly liberally - it doesn't cost much to replace. When you're driving in wet weather, make sure you use your wipers - they can't clear the water from your field of vision if you don't turn them on. Also, stay well behind large trucks and other big vehicles, so that you don't have to deal with as much spray and splash.

Light Up the Sky: When it's raining, even if it's just a light mist, make sure you have your headlights on, especially if your car doesn't feature daytime running lights automatically. Turn them on when it's overcast or foggy as well, because it will keep you safer, not just by helping you see the road, but also by making it easier for other drivers to see you. Remember, however, that in very foggy conditions, if you don't have fog lights, you may not want to use high beams, because they'll reflect back at you, making visibility even poorer. Low beams won't do this as severely.

These four points are the essentials of staying safe in wet weather, but there's one more thing to consider: heavy rain, with flooding. When driving in very heavy rain, especially if you're in an area where flash floods are possible, stay in the center of the road as much as possible, because water tends to flow outward, and drive in the tracks of other cars whenever you can. As well, if you come to water so deep that you can't see the road below it, don't drive through. Find an alternate route, or pull over until the water drains.

Driving through a rainstorm is hazardous, but by following these advice, you can manage it safely, and save yourself the insurance hassle that comes from having an accident.

Internet is the Place for Auto Insurance

Almost every part of our lives has been impacted by the Internet in some fashion, but comScore, a company that specializes in analyzing trends in the online world released a study earlier this month that shows the 'net has become the place to shop for auto insurance, and not just for a few geeky members of society.

The numbers comScore amassed show that connected consumers made 32 million requests for online insurance quotes in 2007, and purchased 2 million policies. These numbers represent increases of 15% and 37%, respectively, since 2006. Since 2004, the total number of requests for online rate quotes has surpassed the one million mark.
Why are these Numbers Increasing?

Originally, consumers logged onto the 'net to find information and compare prices, but in 2006, user habits changed. More and more users weren't just exploring comparison charts, they were requesting quotes and completing their auto insurance purchases online.

According to Kevin Levitt, vice president of comScore, "Consumers are demanding the freedom to choose their method for interacting with their auto insurer -- whether online, by phone, or in person. The rapid growth of the Internet demonstrates the importance of a multi-channel approach that includes the ability to request quotes, purchase policies and service accounts online."

One factor in the growth of online auto insurance sales may be the increase in options for online account management. Over the last two years, more and more insurers have implemented "e-servicing," the ability to handle almost all policy related issues, from changing coverage to making payments, over the internet, without having to wait on hold or deal with automated phone services that cause more frustrations than solutions. In fact, from 2006 to 2007, e-service visits increased by 15% with 20% of those visits having their destinations in policy management pages.
Customers like control.

We may not be a culture of control-freaks, but it's clear that the general public likes to feel like they are in control of their insurance policies. As Mr. Levitt explains, "Consumers appreciate the freedom and flexibility of being able to manage their policies online."

Even better, putting this control in the hands of policy holders has resulted in a win-win situation. Insurance companies are able to offer more services for less money, and they are passing their savings on to their customers, in the form of lower rates for those who shop online.

The savings customers net from using the internet aren't insignificant, either. According to a British study done late last year, just the act of going online to compare the rates of one company against another can yield a savings of 25% over the insurance premium you would pay if you actually called the different insurers you were considering.

More control, more savings, more flexibility. Is it any wonder that every auto insurance ad on television is pushing a website address instead of a phone number?
